Keka is a multidisciplinary artist, creative/art director, and photographer living in Brooklyn, New York

I create compelling and sophisticated interactive experiences. My work spans a variety of industries, with clients ranging from established world-renowned brands to visual artists, non-profits, and startups. I'm always exhilarated by the challenges of reinventing established brands or creating new ones from scratch.

I'm also developing my own artistic practice and have recently held a number of public exhibits. In 2007, I co-founded Sustainable Flatbush, a grassroots non-profit organization that lasted for 6 years and worked to create a replicable model of a sustainable community in the heart of Brooklyn. In 2016, I co-founded Defend Democracy in Brazil, an activist group in NYC working to bring awareness to Brazilian political and social justice issues through local actions, online campaigns, and international media outreach.

Who? Keka!

Artist/Creative/Art Director/Photographer/Entrepreneur with a heart of gold. Born in Brazil, jumping from tree to tree, I eventually landed in NYC. My favorite hobby is to laugh: at me, at you, at everything. My interests run the gamut, from low-tech to high-tech. In the past year, I've taught cyanotype (a historic photographic printing process) workshops and participated in two high-tech programs: the Timewave Virtual Reality Lab (run out of the NYU Game Center), and Tribeca Film Institute's Interactive Immigration Co/Lab. I'm profoundly interested in working on tech solutions that build community and create positive social change.

Ah, and I love Brooklyn, the creative capital of NYC! Here, you can find me riding my neon green bike, taking photos, and composting.
